A fountain Pen is a pen that contains a reservoir of water based liquid ink. From this reservoir, the ink is drawn through a feed to the nib and then to a paper through a combination of gravity and capillary action.
George L Parker, the founder, had introduced his first fountain pen in 1889.From 1920s to 1960s, Parker was either no. 1 or no.2 company in worldwide writing instrument sales. In 1931 Parker created ' Quink' (quick drying ink) which led to the development of widely used models of fountain pen in history.Parker pens were frequently selected often as favourite pens of the signers.
Among these pens some were being decorated by the coverings made of gold like caps and body wrap. Such a beautiful addition of gold makes these pens more attractive.
